About this form

Interested persons can take part in the examination of the above application for a Development of National Significance which has been submitted to the Planning Inspectorate (on behalf of the Welsh Ministers) by making a representation. We recognise that our customers can express their views better in their preferred language of communication. Accordingly, we welcome all communications to us in Welsh or English.

    Address
The Planning Inspectorate aims to communicate with people by email wherever possible, as electronic communication is more environmentally friendly and cost effective for the Planning Inspectorate as a Government agency, given the volume and frequency of letters it needs to send to interested parties during an examination. Therefore, if you provide an email address we will use this. You can change your mind later provided you give us 7 days notice, either in writing or by email.
  2. Your representation

You may have made an objection during the pre-application consultation. If the issue that you have objected to has not been resolved, you should submit a new representation.

Please note that your representation must not include material:

    • that is vexatious or frivolous
    • that the Courts have previously found are not in the public interest (for example, impacts on the quality of view from a private building, or the loss of value in the price of a house).

To write a clear and effective representation:

    • stick to the facts
    • focus on issues raised by the project (e.g. positive or negative impacts)
    • be specific and provide examples
    • tell the Inspector what you want – don’t leave them to guess
    • write in clear, simple, everyday language
